John 7:30-32

Amplified Bible

³⁰ So they were eager to arrest Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His time had not yet come. ³¹ But many from the crowd believed in Him. And they kept saying, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs and exhibit more proofs than this Man?”

³² The Pharisees heard the crowd muttering these things [under their breath] about Him, and the chief priests and Pharisees sent ^[a]guards to arrest Him.
